Our Hurricane story begins on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Growing up, my childhood home was flooded with water from the Albemarle Sound on two separate occasions. I watched my single Mother struggle to navigate the insurance process while raising 3 kids and working. Both times, the insurance company disputed the damage, delayed payment, and when they finally did pay they raised the rates on my mother. She lost hours of sleep and left thousands of dollars on the table due to no fault of her own. This is the situation that thousands of homeowners find themselves in every storm season. Since I was a young man, I have been in the specialized industry of hurricane-centric roofing. Basing myself out of my hometown of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina,  I have worked in 4 states over the last 5 years (NC, LA, TX, FL). I carry a Florida Roofing License (CCC1334483) which is the hardest roofing qualification to obtain in the Southeast. I have worked with dozens of insurance companies and helped countless homeowners in their hurricane reroofing process.
